NJSAMS FHIR® Implementation Guide

​This Implementation Guide contains API and documentation for the New Jersey Substance Abuse Monitoring System (also known as NJSAMS) for use by healthcare organizations in the state of New Jersey. The API uses HL7 FHIR® v4.0.1 to represent the interactions and data model. The data model profiles for this implementation guide are mainly based on the US Core 4.1.0 Specification. This guide specifies REST search and read operations that can be used to query the NJSAMS FHIR server for resources representing NJSAMS data.

NOTE: This Implementation Guide is still undergoing changes to the profiles and codesystems, and should be treated as such.
